Shopping list:

  • 400g chicken fillets
  • 1 packet Schani Indian Poppadom chips
  • 2 eggs (yolks)
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Schani Maharaja Sauce
  • 1 packet Schani lentils with rice Dal Tadka
  • 1 tbsp Schani Royal Ghee

Preparation

Finely crush the poppadoms, season them with the curry blend, and put the crumbs into a small bowl. Then put the flour onto a plate or bowl and do the same with the flour and the egg yolk. Firstly coat the chicken in the flour, then the egg yolk and finally in the spicy poppadom crumbs. Heat a little ghee in a pan on medium heat and fry the chicken in the pan until it is golden brown on both sides this will take around 4 minutes (depending on the size of the fillets).
In the meantime take the Schani Dal Tadka out of the packet and heat according to the instructions on the packet (in the microwave or in a pan).
Arrange the Dal Tadka in the centre of a dish. Cut open the chicken fillet and place on top of the Dal. Add a few poppadom crisps and serve with the dip.
