Basmati Chai Rice pudding

Shopping list:

  • 1 packet Schani Royal Basmati rice
  • 4-5 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cardamom pod - crushed
  • 10 raisins
  • 2-3 tbsp Nuts of your choice
  • 1 tea bag, black tea
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 100ml cream

Preparation

Heat a pan on medium heat. Add all the ingredients to the pan. Slowly increase the heat and cook for approximately 5 minutes stirring continuously, until the rice pudding is the desired consistency. Taste and sweeten if necessary.
If desired, garnish with grated chocolate or fruit and arrange in a small bowl. You can enjoy the rice pudding either hot or cold. Onion cheese rings with Paneer Masala and Basmati rice.
